  1. EASY LINE SOLUTION (Non-Permanent): Art Tape 1/8″
I LOVE this board but didn’t want the hassle of the vinal or to use sharpie just in case I mess up or want to change things around on it. I decided to see what Washi Tape was and if it would be helpful. Well instead I stumbled upon this PERFECT black crepe art tape at Hobby Lobby in the paint (art) section by the painters tape. Straight, cheap, semi-permanent, and easy! Just thought I’d share in case anyone else has sharpie commitment issues like me 🙂

    what size is the board?

  3. I absolutely LOVE this!!! If this wasn’t so hard for you to make, I would try to talk you into selling it. I would very happily be your first customer!!

    1. Lol! I literally wanted to pull my hair out afterwards. But it would be much easier with a sharpie. You could totally do that!

    Hi Kayse,

Got everything and ready to start on this tomorrow – but question – i could figure this out myself..but i’m mathematically challenged, so i thought i’d ask. could you tell me how far apart the lines are?

    thanx 🙂

    1. This is not super helpful, but I think I just eyeballed everything and redid it until it worked. Then I cut the lines with a razor blade so they were even. The top row and meal plan are probably about 1.5 inches high, and the rest of the sections are between 5-8 inches. Play around with it and see what works best for you! It’s easy to move stuff around with the vinyl.

I’m at target at this very moment looking at the board… how did you stick it to the fridge sknce
Its not magnetic on the back?

    1. I used command picture hanging strips. Love those things!!

  6. Ooh I love this!!! I have a white board that gets overcrowded, a to do list pad, and a calendar all vying for attention and space in my kitchen/fridge area. I would totally buy something like this!

  7. I use a binder with daily schedule pages that I print out once a month. I think I’ll someday have something posted on a wall so all the family can see, but for now, I really like the mobility of my binder. I can take it to a coffee shop and schedule things and meal plan without needing to transcribe while standing. I use the Grocery Pal app for shopping, so I can’t forget my list! Plus, it’s synched to my husband’s phone so he can sometimes do the shopping. I’m really looking forward to posting and delegating chores when my kids are older! 🙂

    1. Not Grocery Pal (I don’t even know if that exists?!), but the Our Groceries app.

  8. Sharpie probably would have been easier, true… but who wants to pass up a chance to play with their Silhouette?! 🙂 (Said the girl who was up till midnight making party signs and cupcake picks.)

    1. OOOOOH I want to see!! I spent weeks on Emmy’s first birthday stuff. Second birthday? Target. 🙂

  9. You have one of my all-time favorite verses up on your board. You go, girl!

    1. That’s my verse for this year. I need the reminder always!

  10. Love it Kayse! It’s making me stare at my blank whiteboard with different eyes. Not sure I’d make it til 2am though 😉 – I’d be the one up at 4am lol.

    1. That’s usually me too, but this pregnancy has be up at weird hours!
