  1. I’m glad you had the time to write. I understand how difficult it is to keep up with writing when our children change their timing schedule. Wonderful post, Kayse. I’m praying for you as you prepare to move.

  2. I totally understand the swirl of emotions and the to-do list that comes with a move! When we moved to IL, we picked our house out on the internet and hadn’t even stepped foot into the state until we moved there! God does equip you with what you need when we calls you to follow Him 🙂 I love that about Him, and always will. I would love to pick up Emily one morning for a play date to let you have some time to sort through stuff and pack! There’s nothing sweeter (and less efficient) than a toddler “helping” you pack! I had both boys (ages 3 and 1) and was pregnant with Cora when we were packing for our cross country move. Friends were amazing!!! Let me know when we can come help…we’d love to!!!

  3. Happy to see you and encouraged by your words today. There are some good reminders in there for me as we begin to transition from the school year routine into summer. (It’s a transition I’m ready for, but there will still be a rearranging of time and restructuring of priorities.)

  4. Good to see you writing, Kayse! I relate the lack of writing time due to my increased busyness with our upcoming move. It also seems that when I sit down to write, my mind is such a jumble, it is hard to get anything coherent down! I had a couple of hours to myself yesterday, and I did write, but I am not sure anyone wants to read that!! I love your reminder here to focus on what is more important. Thanks for the encouragement this morning!

  5. What a great list of priorities! You have such a full plate right now. All those things on your list are the only things that really matter in the long run. This season will come and go before you know it, but you’ll see the fruit of those priorities for a lifetime!
