Hi friend!
We care deeply about you and the struggles you’re facing, so we want to make sure you get what you need! We’ve compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions, and hope that these answers will be super helpful for you!
I can’t remember how to log in to my Anchored Women account – Help!
- If you can’t remember where to log into your Anchored Women shop account, here’s the link! You’ll want to bookmark https://shop.anchored-women.com for future reference, as all your purchases are stored for you there!
How do I reset my password for my Anchored Women account?
- A little about our shop: You actually have what’s called a “MyTeachable” account, which means that you’ve created one account across the Teachable platform that allows you to access all the “schools” you’ve enrolled in! Our Anchored Women shop is just one of the schools you’re a part of. For this reason, you can’t change your password through OUR school, because that would affect all the others. I hope that makes sense. Basically lots of people host their schools or shops on Teachable, and your one account gets you access to whichever ones you’ve signed up for.
- Here’s what you do: You’ll need to login through Teachable directly. You can do that here: https://teachable.com/ There, if you can’t remember your password, there’s a link you can click to be reminded of it or reset it! Once you’ve remembered or reset your password, you can then come back to our shop, log in, and access anything you’ve purchased or signed up for through our shop!
How do I change my credit card info on file?
- First, you’ll want to make sure you’re on a computer. It’s not possible to do this from a mobile device. Next, login to your account in our shop here: https://shop.anchored-women.com Then, click on your profile picture in the top right corner. If you don’t have a picture uploaded, it will just look like an outline of a person. When you click there, you’ll see a drop-down menu. One of the options is “Add/Change Credit Card”. Click on that, fill out your information, save it, and you’ll be all set!
When does the next Life Kit get released?
- We release each new kit on the 25th of every month. Our Monthly Planning Sessions are held on the last Saturday of each month, at 4pm. If you want more info on the Life Kit, click here!
What’s the scoop on the next planner launch?
- We will be launching our new editions of the S.O.S. Planner on October 4, 2021. These will be undated planners, with undated weekly + daily pages, plus the option for DATED monthly calendars that span January-December 2022. With this hybrid version, you’ll be able to re-use most of the planner over and over again, while simply purchasing a small booster pack each year with the dated calendars!
What kind of Paper + Pens do you recommend?
You can see ALL my top recommendations in my Amazon shop, right here.
- PAPER: I love great paper. Thick, smooth, and easy to write on. You’re obviously welcome to use any paper you like to print your planner, but HP 32# Premium Matte Paperis my paper of choice.
- PENS: You can find me writing almost exclusively with the Acroball Fine Points, and these Papermate Flairs. I love them! Frixion Retractable Gel Pensare also a great choice, if you’re looking for something erasable.
- BINDERS: You can bind the planner however you’d like, but my binding of choice is the discbound notebook. I love these, because you can move pages around as needed!
How should I bind my planner or printables?
You’ve got three great options! Choose the one that works the best for you + your budget.
- SPIRAL BOUND: After printing, you can take your planner to an office supply store and have them bind it for you using a spiral coil. You can either laminate the front and back covers provided for you in the planner, or you can have the store add a clear plastic front cover and hard back cover. This usually runs around $4-6.
- 3-RING BINDER: You can also keep your planner in a 3-ring binder like this one. The great thing about using a binder is that you always have the option of adding pages in! If using a binder, I recommend thesedividers.
- DISCBOUND NOTEBOOK: This is my preferred choice of binding, because I love the ability to move pages around. If I need an extra notes page, or want to add in a collections page, it’s VERY easy to do with a discbound notebook! You can find the covers, the discs, and the special hole punch you need for this system in my Amazon shop, right here.
How do I print my planner or printables in different sizes?
FULL-SIZE (8.5×11 in.) PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:
This document should be printed at 100% or “fit to page” if you want it to be full-size.
- The Full Size SOS Planner is ready to print! It’s all in order, and all you have to do is set it to print. Here are a few tips…
- To print at home, simply set your printer to it’s two-sided setting, and press print. If your printer doesn’t have a two-sided setting, simply print all the odd pages first, and then feed them back into the printer to print the even pages. (PLEASE do a test run on a few pages before you print everything! The full planner is a large document!)
- If you’re printing at an office supply store, simply send it in, as is, and ask them to print it two-sided. (This printing option will be much more costly. I highly recommend printing at home, or at a friend’s house!)
- If you absolutely cannot print at home, but are looking for a more cost effective option, I recommend bestvaluecopy.com. Many of our planner girls have used this site & saved a bit of money on printing.
- PLEASE do a test run on a few pages before you print everything! Pay special attention to your scale settings.
MID-SIZE (around 7×9 in.) PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:
This document should be printed around 80%, depending on your printer.
- The Mid Size is the trickiest size to print and trim, but you can do it! Here are a few tips…
- Set your printer to print at a scale of 80%, and try a few pages to make sure that you like the size. If not, play around with the scale. Every printer is a little different.
- Once you’ve got your sizing set, you’ll want to set your printer to it’s two-sided setting, and press print. If your printer doesn’t have a two-sided setting, simply print all the odd pages first, and then feed them back into the printer to print the even pages. (PLEASE do a test run on a few pages before you print everything! You’ll want to make sure the the front and back line up – again, every printer is different. Most will do this, but if your printer does not, you might prefer using the full or half sizes instead.)
- Troubleshooting: If you can’t get the front and back sides to center, try selecting your “portrait” setting, if your print settings offer that. This should center the document on both sides!
- After printing, you’ll need to trim the pages. I recommend turning on your favorite TV show and grabbing your paper cutter. This will take about 20 minutes to do, hence the TV show. This size is designed to measure 7“ x 9”, which means you’ll need to trim 3/4 of an inch off each side, and 1 inch off the top and bottom.
- PLEASE do a test run by printing and trimming just a few pages before you print everything! This is a large document! Pay special attention to your scale settings and don’t be afraid to tweak the scale to get it to your perfect size.
HALF-SIZE (5.5×8.5 in.) PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:
This document should be printed around 100%, depending on your printer.
- The half-size is an A5 size. That means you have two options for printing.
- If you would like to print it single-sided, simply adjust your printer layout to print 2 pages per sheet. You’ll need to cut each sheet of paper in half after printing, and then you can bind the planner as you see fit. (See above for binding options!)
- If you would like to print double-sided, you’ll need to cut your paper FIRST. Cut each sheet of 8.5×11 paper in half, and adjust your printer’s paper tray to the half-size (5.5×8.5) paper. Then, make sure the size of paper is also changed on your printer settings (you’ll want to select the A5 setting). After that, you can either print two-sided, or print the odd pages first, then flip those over (keeping the correct order in mind) and print the even pages.
- PLEASE do a test run on a few pages before you print everything! Pay special attention to your scale settings. This document should be printed at 100% or less when using the correct size paper.
